SpotEuro Forex Daily Outlook June 2, 2010
02 Jun, 2010 @ 12:23 pm CET | Par Alex Kazmarck
We continue to see volatility as expected. We're focusing on a big surprise out of the Eurozone over the next 24-48 hours. We're not sure what will happen but we are expecting big moves on further thoughts that Greece will have to exit the EMU. We think it will be best for the rest of the EMU to absorb the debt left behind by Greece, letting them restructure the debt in Drachma, which will have to be depreciated significantly; this will allow the ECB to allocate the funds initially meant for Greece towards other troubled economies such as Spain, Ireland, and Italy. This is something that we practice in FOREX trading as good money should never chase a bad trade (in this case Greece). We'll see what occurs and will follow momentum on big news.
